I'm Nisha - a corporate professional by day and a passionate cook with a love for all things wellness by night. I often say I was raised in my family’s kitchen - some of my fondest memories are of my mom and I experimenting with sauces, spices, and flavors to create something truly unique.
My passion for food runs deep, and I want to show you that eating healthy can be both exciting and achievable, even with the demands of a busy lifestyle. You do NOT have to compromise on flavor for the sake of health - these recipes are here to prove that you can balance it all. My goal is to inspire you to become a fervid foodie in the kitchen!
My Story
I grew up in the Chicago suburbs in a vegetarian family and have always loved cooking healthy meals that make me feel great. While some things have changed (I now eat everything and live in NYC), my appreciation for plant-forward dishes remains. When I’m not cooking, I’m usually thinking about my next meal—food fuels me both physically and mentally! Outside the kitchen, I work in the corporate world, where I’ve found that eating healthy keeps me focused and energized. And when I’m not thinking about food (which is rare), you’ll find me running, at a workout class, reading, and / or exploring new restaurants and coffee shops!
